Watch this video about our activity groups, and wait until you see the dancing!
This video shows some of the work we do in the local community of Kirombe, Uganda. The clips are from a production made by Game Concepts, courtesy of Bruno Agaba and director Edy Kasawuli. Some parts of the footage is in Luganda language, and we are sorry for not having subtitles at this point.
Our Sustainability Program
MyGreenPlanet is our program for Environmental Sustainable Development and Social Impact.
Impact Business
True change today has a larger impact with fair business directly benefitting the communities than aid and charity.
Vanilla for development
Creating a co-operative for vanilla is an opportunity to build better livelihoods for the community, by providing high quality vanilla from Uganda to a struggling international market.
High quality traditional products
Knitted baskets are the new trend in Europe, and after our research, we have yet to find better quality products than the ones made by Greater Africa members.
Support a child
Sponsor school for a child until their parents can! Parents are empowered through our programs, but not if they must stay home with their children. 200 Norwegian krones per month can solve this. Read more about our school and become a sponsor today!
Activity groups
There are many talented and skilled people amongst our members. We put them together in teams to make the most out of their potential. They are in need of tools and materials to be able to prepare for establishing their own workplace.
Improving school conditions
Our school is established by our local members initiative. They had no financial means, but they started anyway. Through hard voluntary work they have managed to build a school for the children that can’t afford school fees. We want to support by improving the standards and conditions for the children.
Training center for agriculture
Greater Africa has established a training center for agriculture. Funding is needed to start agricultural training projects. Our members want to learn about different kinds of farming, like ginger and coffee, and also pigs and chickens.
Today’s students.
Tomorrow’s leaders
Our school project is a dream come true. Local members of the community took matters into their own hands and built a school for families who cannot afford it
