Support a training centre for aggriculture

Why it matters

We have skilled farmers within our community-members, and we want to make the most of the competance they have to help the community prosper. Some members with farming skills do not have means to bake a living out of it. By training others and sharing resources thay can be able to create work both for themselves and others.

Location

Our training center is located in Nakabuye Regina Road, in Makindye, Kampala. It is a large garden full of plants, not far from Nsambya Kirome where we have our largest base of members. Nearby is Kulekaana trading area, which has a huge market day once a week.

Our projects

We have a garden with various food plants and medicinal herbs. We want to start training people to do ginger farming witch is a non-costly, simple and profitable way to make a living. We also have a programme for coffee farming in collaboration with charitable people who will lend out their land. We want to start chicken farming in the garden, and pig farming at a small pig farm in Nsambya Kirombe.

How can I help?

Every contribution helps us start and develop programmes for our local members. Usually it takes about 5000 norwegian kroners on average to establish a project. So even with small donations it makes a difference, and has an impact for the society.
